Bagley Pecan Harvest Festival

in historic downtown Richmond and Decker/ Wessendorff Parks

The City of Richmond and West Fort Bend Management District will be reinstating the famed Pecan Harvest Festival highlighting the rich history of Bagley Pecans on Sunday, November 20th, to celebrate the harvesting season of the pecan, the stately pecan trees which are ubiquitous to the area. A variety of vendors and activities will be provided from 1:00- 6:00 pm on this Fall Sunday afternoon!

TAMU AgriLife will be providing educational workshops about pecans, locally and regionally, at Decker Park in historical downtown Richmond. Decker Park houses several historical homes where attendees can also find activities such as a Pecan Bake-Off and children’s activities. Wessendorff Park with its' famed gazebo will provide a variety of music all day, as well as activities across the grassy knoll. Hay Rides will also further the fall harvest experience as it transports Pecan Fest attendees throughout the area.  Attendees will find vendors, food trucks, and beer will be available for sale to adults at the Biergarten!

As Decker Park & Wessendorff Park are located on Preston Street, between 4th and 6th Streets, just over the Railroad tracks from historic downtown, a variety of shopping from our established merchants will be at your fingertips as well.                This event  is FREE to the public.
