Tall Weeds and Grass

High Weeds and Grass 

If the grass or weeds have grown to exceed 9 inches in height, then it is a violation of city ordinance Sec. 22-80

 Trash-Code-Compliance

Trash, Debris, & Rubbish 

Piles of trash, rubbish, and other debris visible to the public is a violation of city ordinance Sec. 22-80

If junked vehicles are located in any area where they are visible from a public place or right-of-way, and are detrimental to safety and welfare of the general public they are in violation of city ordinance Sec. 22-20

 

Illegal Signs

All signs require a permit issued prior to posting, erecting, displaying, altering, or relocating them. Unified Development Code Article 4.7.103

 

 

Stagnant Water

Stagnant water creates an unsanitary condition likely to attract or harbor mosquitoes Sec 22-80

All fencing shall be structurally sound and in good repair 2015 IPMC 304.2

Address Identification

Buildings shall be provided with approved address identification. The address identification shall be legible, visible from the street or road fronting the property, shall contrast with their background, shall be Arabic numerals or alphabetical letters and minimum of 4 inches height 2015 IPMC 304.3

Vacant Structures

All vacant structures must be secure from unauthorized entry. The owner of the premises shall maintain the structures and exterior property. Exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting materials 2015 IPMC 108.2

Illegal Dumping

A person commits an offense if the person disposes or allows or permits the disposal of litter or other solid waste at a place that is not an approved solid waste site, including a place on or within 300 feet of a public highway, on a right-of-way, on other public or private property, or into inland or coastal water of the state Sec 22-80
