2017 Spring Clean-Up Campaign

Republic Service will be in the communities north of the RR tracks-

Saturday, April 15

 This one day collection will be for the residents North of the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks including River's Edge Subdivision (MUD 140)

THE TRUCK WILL PASS BY EACH RESIDENCE ONE (1) TIME! 

TIME:  ITEMS MUST BE CURBSIDE BEFORE 7:00 A.M. 

LOCATION OF ITEMS:  ALL ITEMS MUST BE STACKED AT THE CURB 

LIMIT:  20 CUBIC YARDS / NO TORN DOWN BUILDINGS / STRUCTURES

DEBRIS FROM A VACANT LOT WILL NOT BE COLLECTED

Please dispose of your old motor oil, transmission oil, anti-freeze, oil filters, power steering fluid, lead acid batteries, cell phone batteries, VCR batteries, button batteries and all rechargeable batteries without harming the environment. 

Tires, batteries, oil, and hazardous wastes will not be accepted during the clean up.  Oil, tires, hazardous wastes and other recycling items can be taken to the Fort Bend County Recycling and Environmental Center located at 1200 Blume Road.  Call the Recycle Center at 281.342.5226 or 281.633.7581 for hours of operation and information regarding acceptable materials.

To properly dispose of wet paint, take your leftover paint to Fort Bend County’s Household Hazardous Waste Center.  Their charges are as follows: $1.00 per gallon up to 14 gallons.  $5.00 per gallon for 15th gallon and up. 

Fort Bend County’s Recycling and Environmental Center is located at 1200 Blume Road in Rosenberg.  A valid driver’s license or other proof of residency in Fort Bend County is required.  Household Hazardous Waste is accepted every Monday and on the first Saturday of each month.
