National Night Out began in 1984 from an established network of police agencies and neighborhood watch groups across the country and has become an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnership. This night enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. National Night Out occurs on the first Tuesday in October, this year October 4th and currently has 10 different gatherings in 10 different neighborhoods..
